I am soon to be moving my cash out of Eurobet (which I wouldnt recommend) and looking for a new site. Primarily I want a soft site with lots of fishies. Having looked around the forums, I have some idea of what people are suggesting, but I have a question? Before US legislation changed, most felt, in the UK at least, that the softest games were to be found where Americans played, especially party poker. Now it seems, the sites with big US traffic have reputations as the tough sites? Does anyone agree/disagree with this. I have always fancied playing at pokerstars due to traffic but seeing as there is no decent bonus, rakeback, and a Daniel Negreano tough reputation Im not too sure. At the moment my choice is between bodog (soft rep, decent software, and decent traffic) and pacific (awful software seemingly but super soft). Anyone have suggestions? Please can you guys give me feedback as to whether I am being a nit in relation to this or not. Party have re-introduced the steps tournaments and I thought I would give them a shot, I did OK and got to the final table coming 5th and winning $500. What surprised me though is that when I checked my party points for the next day they had only increased by 6 points and not by nearly 100 as I expected, correspondence follows below. >Original Message Follows: ------------------------ >In the terms and conditions it states that for every tournament doller >earned 2 party points will be added. As of Poker Stars.de yesterday I played in the >steps tournament and only earned 6 points. This was despite me paying >over $50 in rake, pleas let me know your position on this as I >expected to earn lots of points for playing in these. Even if points are >not paid please can you make it clear in your terms and conditions in >the party points earning page

>Regards, > > > Original Message Follows: ------------------------ Thank you for the reply. Please can you explain to me if there is no rake then why PokerStars.net/JA the money is reduced in the prize pool. for example of the final table a total of $5000 was used to but on yet only $4700 was paid out. I am sorry but it is quite evident that rake IS being taken, it even states on the table that the buy-in includes the tournament fee. You know and I know that you are shorting PokerStars.net/KO the players with regards this, I was hoping to increase my play using the steps as I saw it as a good way to increase my party points but it seems pointless doing this if you are going to take a tournament fee but not provide point reward for doing so. As an example; Poker Stars run satellites around absolute poker referral code the clock, you can win into the $million dollar tournament on a sunday by entering a $36+$3freezeout. If I qualify I then enter the sunday million for a buy-in of $200 + $15 , I get frequent player points for BOTH of these as I have paid rake on both. I am looking for an honest answer New York BMW here I would rather you say well normally we pay points but we are not going to on this occasion and at least I can take it further rather than an answer that we both know is ambiguous at best. I've made some really BIG Texas Holden laydowns in tournaments before when it gets close to crunch time. If the hand im in requires half my stack or more when its close to the payouts, i'll make laydowns w/ big hands. For instance: 23 people til the tourney pays out & i have pkt Qs....im in bad position & a guy raises all in for most my stack, another guy reraises all in in front of Pokr Stars me also...i have to think im beat preflop but guess what, i wasn't. The 1st guy had A Q which i was dominating & the other guy had pkt Js. Even though i was pissed when the cards were revealed, i was sure happy that i folded such a big preflop hand when it was near payout time cause the board hit Kd Ah 3c...so i made a good BIG laydown in that case & saved my tournament life basically. I ended up placing 17th which payed me 20 times what i bought in for. It's hard making those kind of laydowns but you have to do them sometimes. Have any of you been in that kind of situation & what was it? Went back on the (Bo)dog and the last I Online Poker Strategy deposited there was before Neteller folded. So I signed up for ewalletxpress. They looked Neteller-esque. It was all done and stuff. Verified my information and so forth. They had a little disclaimer on their file that said to continue depositing money on their site they had made a withdrawl from my bank account for verification purposes.

When I opened my computer the other day and logged on to my online banking, the amount they debited was... $99.14. What shit. I called them up right away and got a bunch of bs saying that this was company policy and other baloney. Well yesterday I tried to cash out 200$ from FTP but, I forgot I used visa to get my money on the acct so I'm going to need to send a fax of my drivers liscense, a utility bill, and then have them mail me a check that will take a while to clear at my bank. Is there any other way to do this besides this tedious process, can I get hooked up with the echeck thing, I don't really know how all those work and I know Neteller is offlimits lol. I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me on how to go about this The nucharge phone card service looks to be slightly more legit. You've been warned about ewalletxpress. It's like being robbed Paty Poker! When the gambling legislation went through I pulled all my money out of my poker accounts. I went to UB the other day and was going to start playing there again when I noticed I had $6 there and I decided to see if I could build a bankroll out of it. Well I started at .05/.10 6 handed NL and in 3 weeks I've built it up to $150. The play at that level has been so bad and I've been doing so well I decided to just keep playing there for a while. Anyway today I was in this hand. I had QJ of harts Texas Holdum and I limped in on the button. The flop was Kh Th 3d. I flopped an open end straight draw.

We all want to win that one big tourney. You know, the WSOP package, the Sunday Million, Aruba. Our skills can get us there, with a little bit of luck. But what is the best way to get into these main events? You can buy in directly. But I don't know too many players with the entry fee in their back pocket. So what do you do? Satellites, my friend. Satellites are a great way to get to the big show for a minimum investment. You can even get in for free. And just look how far two dollars can take you...does the name Chris Moneymaker ring a bell? All of the major sites have some sort of Hollywood Poker Bonus promotional package they give away. Some are for the big travel poker package such as the WSOP, Monte Carlo, Aruba, L.A. Some are for the big buck games anywhere from $100,000 to $2.5 million dollars. And you can even win your way to private lessons with a pro or be on TV. Satellites come in different playing levels. You are offered a myriad of choices for playing. You can play SNGs or tourneys. Buyin, freerolls, or player appreciation chips. Usually the satellites with the lowest buyin have the most people playing. You win one Free Pocker level at the satellite, you move up to the next. Or if you are playing at a certain level of buyins you win a direct entry to the main event tourney. What do these pokertrackers do for you. what are the advantages and disadvantages to them? i have never got the point what all do they tell you. thanks for any advice? oh and one last do they usually cost moneY? There is a nice twist on satellites on some sites that is my favorite way to win. They are called double or triple shootouts. The principal behind these are that they are like two or three SNGs together. You win the first table,(either 6 or 9-10 seaters); you go to the next table made up of the winners of the other tables. The winner of that table gets in the Party Pocker main event. I have won entries to a few of the big events Online Pocker going the satellite way. They are the best way to try to make your dream come true for a litle investment.

It's checked to me and I decide to throw out a pot sized bet and I'm called by one player. Turn is the 8s, I get the feeling this player is weak so I try to push the turn and win it there. I bet like $1.20 at a $1.10 pot and I'm called. This was my most enjoyable experience at poker in a while. I played a live cash table for the first time in a couple weeks at the casinos today. Played for about 2 1/2 hours at the same table. There was this kid, about 21 years old I think, barely old enough to play, but very arrogant, annoying, and cocky---but the best part, full of money. And well, he just had this thing about getting into every pot I was playing and trying to push me around. Funny how there are always guys like that, looking to push women around at a poker table, but I don't mind them, because most of them aren't that good players. The things he said to me, some which I won't repeat No Deposit Poker on here since this is a family board, was a bit well vulgar, but I didn't let it really get to me, all it did was give me information on what type of player he was (dealer just gave him a couple dozen warnings, but I said I didn't mind them because I wanted him to stay at the table so I could set him up). Yeah, great show. Only complaint is the frequent re-runs. For those of us who have watched from the beginning, you know what I mean. The last 5 weeks have had a total Neteller Alternatives of excatly one new show. They should show the originals each week until they are finished and THEN show the re-runs. Also, don't bother with the directors cut if you have time to watch each of the 1 hour segments (5 of these per 2 hour "director's cut"). Much more informative to see the individual shows... plus you get to see all of the hands, even the ones with no flop. So I was playing at a $2/$4 NLH table, max $400. Well, anyways, he kept raising big to a lot of pots I was in, trying to be like the Canadian Neteller Alternatives generic ass*hole guy and think that since I was a woman he could push me around like that. And well, I just kept letting him think that I was very weak player, and that I would fold as long as he raised big. After about 30 or so minutes of him making a big show about pushing me around at the table, I picked up KK, and just smooth called from early position. The guy, of course, raised about 8xBB since I was in the pot. Everyone folded to me. I just smooth called. Flop came K72 rainbow. This is when the fun started. Of course, you guys can predict, he comes out firing putting Mac Party Poker out about 16xBB. I just stopped for a minute, and started my acting job. I tried to seem as weak and a pushover as possible. Just looking at my cards all nervous, and biting my lip, like I was so concerned. And finally I just smooth called again. Turn card come a 3. Once again he comes out firing with the same bet of 16xBB. Once again, I started putting on weak act (which I have no idea how he could believe I was weak since I called, but I acted anyways). I was like, "Come on, you can't push me out Linux Poker of every pot. I have a really good draw here" (best part of course, not a single draw out there except backdoor flush draw, but I guess I sold it to him perfectly). So I smooth called again.

River card comes another 3, suits didn't matter, no flush draw on the board anymore. Then the guy says the best line I've heard all week, "Haha, you missed you're flush, and I hit the best card I possibly could hit. You're owned," and he pushed all his chips in. At this moment, I know he doesn't have pocket 3's, I'm just thinking to myself, should I slowroll the kid and think for a bit. Normally I never would do that, but well, the kids talk was deserving of it, so I thought for like 20 seconds. And then just said, "I think you should look up 'owned' in the dictionary," and called. He started celebrating Freerolls and flips over 35 suited for trips. I show the full house, and the kid goes ballistic. Starts cussing and calling me every name he can think of. Won only about $400 from that pot, but well, let's just say I took another $350ish from him by the end of the night, before he finally left the table. Haven't found a player willing to throw his money like that to me, live for a while, so it was a good night for me. Then when I got home just about a hour and a half ago, I just signed up for a SnG, while I had to talk with my brother about something on the fone, and didn't want to just idly sit there listening to him. Ended up at the final table, I was low chip stack, but still reasonable with the blinds, coming into the final table. Had to play the most patient, managing game I've played in a while to slowly get a nice stack. Was low stack throughout the tourney, but just kept hanging around, until I eventually won.

The other day when I was playing at a casino, I was at a table with the largest number of women I'd ever played with (aside from ladies-only tournaments, of course). It was a 4/8 cash game and a few players came and went, but near the end of my time at the Full Tilt Poker Freerolls table there were six ladies and only two men! I've never seen that before. It's usually the other way around, with the men outnumbering the women at least four to one. That made me curious... what's the highest female to male ratio you've seen at a poker table? What kind of game was it (tourney, cash game, what Poker Bot buy-in or limit) and where? Well the river is the 6h and I've hit my flush. My opponent moves all in here and it makes me think for a second wondering if he has the nut flush. Well the play at these tables are so bad I'm in no way throwing away the second nuts because I see these players push with anything in these spots so I call. Well he turns over 63o he made 2 pair on the river and pushed. This is what made me laugh though. My opponent See's that his pair of 3's was ahead until the river and he types in the chat "fvcking river rat." I opened a real money account with Sportsbook based on a recommendation of a friend. He had turned his $20.00 deposit into approximately $700.00 and thought before he went any further he would see how hard it would be to get some of his cash out. He requested $300.00 about a Online Poker 22 month ago and still has not received it. They have asked him to send photo copies of his drivers lisense, and his credit card front and back. Sounds fishy to me, anyone else know of similar problems with Sportsbook? I don't want to get to far into it to find it is worth nothing. He check calls to the river with a weak hand, obviously has no read on me because he pushes into me when I make my hand, then calls the guy the bet the entire way a river rat.

Sometimes these fish just crack me up. lol Please only read any further if you reside in Canada and played online poker at Partypoker prior to the US ban (October 13th). My name is Mark McCabe and I attend the University Of Paisley in Scotland. I am currently doing my dissertation on the affects of the online gaming industry (with specific regards to online poker) as a result of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act 2006 10 Best Online Casinos which effectively banned US players, however I understand US players still play online poker at sites that have not banned them.
